Today we said goodbye to our sweet Bessie. She was our ultimate fighter. Bessie beat cancer twice but was not able to win the battle a 3rd time. She was only a part of our lives for a very short 4 years 3 months but she lived 14 years 7 months. We love you Bessie!
Oh sweet Bessie! I’m so sorry that you had to leave us for the Rainbow Bridge. We will miss your beautiful gray muzzle soooo much. What an inspawration you have been to this community. You have proved that age need not disqualify a dog from becoming a Tripawd. We love you sweet girl.
I hope we’ll get to see more photos of your life. You have some amazing humans that I know you’ll look out for from up in heaven.

Ohhh dear Bessie, I’m sorry it was time for you to shed your earth clothes. But I know you are enjoying being free to be your young rambunctious playful self. I also know you will send your hoomans a sign that you are still connected to them.
I know those four years three months (30-ish in dog years) with the most loving home a dog could have were the best time a dog could ever hope for! I had the privilege of following you all these years as a tripawd snd the love and devotion your hoomans had for you, and you for them, came shining through with every post, every picture.
You ABSOLUTELY are a legend and inspiration around here! Because of all your victories, no doubt many, many other dogs will be given a chance at extended quality time. You are truly an example of what’s possible! You’ve shown everyone that tripawds can live a joyful life full of spoiling, fun, loving, yummy rubs and more spoiling!
