Before all the snow hit i was outside with both dogs. Our 3 year old American Bulldog/Boxer was on a tie out leash. Our 12 year old black Lab tripaw was loose. I was cleaning up the yard. It was a beautiful day. I was standing on the edge of our property and a deer walked out from the other side of the neighbor’s property. This is very unusual since we live right in town. The deer casually walked across the street. It then turned around and stared at both dogs. Both dogs were quietly watching the deer. All of a sudden the deer took off running and there goes my tripaw in hot pursuit. She was across the street and almost in the neighbor’s backyard before i got her to stop.
I just wish i would have filmed it.
GRINNING EAR TO EAR OVER HERE!! The visual of Bessie hauling “ars” on three just lights up my world!!
Bessie continues ro be a Beacon of Hope for anyone starting this journey, but especially “mature” pups!!
I always love her pictures, and the one above is no exception. I just got to go back and see the ones of her in the snow. She is absolutely adorable!
Keep on rockin’ Bessie RockStar SuperStar!! 🙂
Love and hugs
Sally and Alumni Happy Hannah and Merry Myrtle and Frankie too!
We were terrified when we had to remove her leg. I just want to let everyone know that it was worth it. The last 2 years with her have been pure joy.
Woooooaaaaah! Wow gorgeous, you are faster than a speeding train on those three paws. Look out deer, here comes a Tripawd Tornado! xoxo
Isn’t it amazing how fast they can go? Zato could outrun and outmaneuver me anytime he wanted on three, especially where deer were concerned. Your beautiful Bessie decided it was time to make her move!
Love her sweet face.
